Our recruiters bring years of experience as practicing attorneys and recruiters to each representation or search. Our varied backgrounds and practical legal experience have taught us about the critical importance of finding the best fit between employer and attorney.

Stephen Engle is a Senior Director in the California office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan. Over the last six years, he has placed dozens of partners and associates at law firms and corporations and has counseled hundreds of attorneys with regard to career development. He created and implemented a novel presentation to help law students choose their practice area, which he has delivered to students at Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Michigan and Berkeley. He has spoken at the NALP conference and at many conferences of local bar associations and professional recruiting organizations.

Stephen received a J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1997, where he served as the Books and Commentaries Editor of the Harvard Law Review. After law school, he clerked for Judge Levin H. Campbell on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He practiced law for four years at a boutique law firm in San Francisco.  Prior to his legal career, he earned an M.F.A. in theater from the University of Southern California and a B.A. (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) in mathematics from Middlebury College. For eight years, Stephen was a professional actor in New York City and Los Angeles. Among his many roles, he played an attorney on the soap opera As the World Turns.

Corin Lindsley is a Senior Director in the New York office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan. She has been working in the area of legal recruitment for over a decade, having placed partner groups, general counsels, in-house teams, lateral partners and associates at the top law firms and corporations both nationally and internationally.  She offers exclusive arrangements to both clients and candidates in a boutique setting that can cater to the personal approach necessary in search.

Corin has spoken at some of the most prestigious law schools in the country including Yale, Columbia and Stanford Law.  She has been a guest speaker and panelist on various legal employment topics at events sponsored by NALP, Vault and the NYC Junior League.  Prior to search Corin practiced at a mid-sized NY based firm in the area of white collar and securities litigation.  She currently works in various practice area disciplines including corporate, litigation, real estate, antitrust, labor & employment and tax.

Tim Regan is a Senior Director in the Texas and New York offices of Engle, Lindsley & Regan.  Tim has successfully placed partners and associates in the top-tier regional, national, and international law firms, and has completed in-house counsel searches for numerous prominent international corporations.

Prior to joining ELR, Tim worked as a legal search consultant for a large international legal recruiting firm. Tim earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law, where he served as the Student Bar Association President during his final year.

Tim is active in The Houston Young Lawyers Association, currently co-chairing The Annual Houston Young Lawyers Foundation golf tournament. Last year he and his co-chair successfully raised a substantial sum of money for many worthy charities within the city.

Lisa Rothblum is a Senior Director in the New York office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan. Prior to becoming a recruiter, she enjoyed a successful 25-year legal career, starting as a lawyer at the Securities & Exchange Commission (Division of Enforcement), then serving as a litigation associate at a prestigious NYC law firm, and ultimately moving in-house. She was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of two prominent entertainment companies -- PolyGram Records (now Universal Music) and Atari, Inc. (at the time a publicly-traded company), where she established full-service multi-office legal departments and counseled and supported senior executives on all day-to-day issues and deals.

Lisa came to ELR from a large, nationally known recruiting firm where she was a Managing Director. She focused predominantly on in-house searches and placed general counsel and other lawyers at companies in all industry sectors, including entertainment, consumer products, life sciences, financial services and in the non-profit world. She also placed associates and partners at law firms. At ELR, Lisa's work is more expansive and evenly divided: she has placed partners, counsels, associates and management professionals at law firms and in-house lawyers at all levels at companies.

Lisa is the author of "Going Corporate," which appeared in the November, 2008 issue of The American Lawyer, as well as the two-part article, “How to Make a Successful Hire" and "How to Make a Successful Hire - A Post-Script", which appeared in the trade publication Search-Consult.

Nancy J. Kim is a Senior Director in the New York Office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan.  She joined ELR after working for another legal search firm where she successfully handled both associate and partner placements and developed the firm’s in-house search practice.  Prior to becoming a legal search consultant, Nancy was a litigation attorney in private practice and for a Fortune 500 company.  In addition to her legal experience, she served on the Executive Committee at a non-profit organization for five years.

Nancy’s experience as a practicing attorney, together with her attention to detail and her effective communication skills, has enhanced her success in the legal placement industry.  She confers with employers in finding candidates well-matched for the positions they are looking to fill.  Nancy also endeavors to help candidates pursue opportunities that will best serve their long-term career aspirations.   In order to accomplish these goals, she believes that the search process should emphasize a candid exchange of information.  She listens to both the candidates and employers in order to meet their unique needs and expectations and readily provides feedback.

Nancy received her B.A degree in History from Northwestern University, and she received her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law, where she was an editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal.  While in law school, Nancy was a judicial extern to the Honorable Helen G. Berrigan, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Rena Barnett is a Senior Director in the New York Office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan. Previously, she was the Corporate In-House Placement Liaison at another search firm and also handled associate and partner placements in that capacity. Rena was a transactional and regulatory environmental attorney prior to becoming a recruiter . Her professional background includes working in the private sector, in-house for a Fortune 500 Energy corporation, and law firm experience. She also teaches business law to M.B.A. students at Adelphi University. She is a Graduate of New York University School of Law and Barnard College (magna cum laude).

Rena has gained a broad perspective of the legal market and the tools necessary to be successful in the legal field as a result of her solid legal experience in diverse settings. She understands that to enjoy a successful career, an attorney must be able to find a balance between career aspirations and lifestyle interests. She lends her perspective and the benefits of her diverse experience to each candidate's career search.

Todd Caissie is a Senior Director in the New York Office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan. He has been recruiting for more than 12 years focusing predominantly on in-house and partner level searches. He has worked at prominent global search firms where he placed general counsels and other in-house lawyers within numerous industry sectors; including financial services, media, consumer products, life sciences, energy, and not-for-profit. He has partnered with global corporations to place attorneys at all levels within their legal departments. His clients have included a glittering array of companies, law firms and non-profits; including Yale University, National Hockey League, Colgate Palmolive, Verizon, NBC Universal, Scholastic Inc, and Merrill Lynch.

Prior to joining ELR, Todd was most recently US Head of Legal for an international search firm. His past experience also includes managing the New York Legal and Capital Markets Division of a national search firm and 5 years in Tokyo managing the Japanese branch of a global search firm.

Todd was born in Canada and received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University where he played Division I lacrosse. He speaks French and Japanese.

Jennifer Johnson is a Senior Director in the New York office of Engle Lindsley & Regan. She consults attorneys at all levels in a broad range of practice areas. Prior to joining ELR, Jennifer practiced as a financial services associate in both Manhattan and New Jersey at the law firms of Day Pitney LLP and Vedder Price P.C. counseling bank and non-bank financial institutions as well as corporate borrowers.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Delaware and her J.D. from Seton Hall Law School where she was a member of the Constitutional Law Journal.

Lauren Galluzzo is a Senior Director in the New York office of Engle Lindsley & Regan. She consults with attorneys at all levels of practice, working on both corporate and law firm placements. Before recruiting in legal, Lauren worked with executive candidates at a pharmaceutical, biotechnology search firm. In addition to her recruiting experience, she worked for the Managed Account Division of Man Group, PLC, where she handled trade reporting and portfolio strategy marketing, assisting in obtaining first round investments for an internal investment fund. Lauren has also worked for Sophos Group, LLC, a spinoff fixed income arbitrage hedge fund, where she assisted with legal research.

Lauren obtained her B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Molly Garhart is a Senior Director in the California office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan. She has successfully worked with attorney candidates of all levels, placing them in top-tier law firms and corporations, as well as counseled them on career development decisions. Prior to joining ELR, Molly worked as the attorney recruiting, hiring, and professional manager for the West Coast offices of Axiom. Before Axiom she was a legal recruiter in the San Francisco office of Major Lindsey & Africa.

A native San Franciscan, Molly attended the Hamlin School and University High School in San Francisco before receiving her BA from UCLA , and her JD from The University of Chicago. After graduating from law school Molly practiced intellectual property law in the Los Angeles offices of Sheppard Mullin and Loeb & Loeb, before joining the Trademark, Advertising and Copyright group of Cooley Godward in San Francisco.

When not placing attorneys, Molly can be found running on the Marin trails, or simply enjoying (and shuttling around) her two young daughters, Avery and Chase, and puppy, Jack, with her husband Nate.

Luke Carron is the Operations Manager in the New York office of Engle Lindsley & Regan. He comes to ELR after spending a year working as an AmeriCorps member in the Disaster Planning and Response Department at the American Red Cross in New York City. Prior to working with the Red Cross, he received his BS, with honors, in Sociology and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. While at Michigan, Luke worked as a research assistant for a physician and a fundraising and outreach associate for an HIV/AIDS Resource Center. He plans to start graduate school in the near future.                                                    

Rachel Cinnamon is a researcher in the New York office of Engle Lindsley & Regan. She is currently finishing a degree in Economics at Fordham University, where she participates in the university’s honors program. Upon completion of her baccalaureate degree, Rachel plans to pursue a law degree. Among other endeavors prior to joining ELR, Rachel worked in an administrative capacity for Apple Security Solutions in New Rochelle, NY, and coordinated wine tasting events and administrative services for Grapes of Norwalk, a boutique wine consulting service in Norwalk, CT.
