Elizabeth Liz Lamere is a Managing Director in the New York office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan.
She joined ELR after working for over two decades for another boutique legal search firm where she specialized in placing lateral partners, partner groups, counsels and senior associates in a broad array of practice areas at top law firms both nationally and internationally.
Prior to becoming a legal search consultant, Liz practiced law as a corporate associate for approximately six years at major New York law firms. Since 2007, Liz has been a member of Community Board One, where she serves on the Licensing & Permits committee and the Waterfront & Resiliency committee and has been actively involved in the revitalization of Lower Manhattan. She has served on the coop board of 3 Hanover Square for over eight years. Her experience practicing law and serving on the community and coop boards has helped Liz develop keen listening, problem solving and negotiations skills, enhancing her ability to work with her clients and candidates to identify needs and ensure the right fit on both sides to effectuate successful placements.
Liz received her BA in Psychology, magna cum laude, from Tufts University where she was a member of the varsity soccer team and her JD from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served on the journal of Art & the Law. She is an avid recreational boxer and musician.
