Michael Fulton is a Managing Director in the Houston office of Engle, Lindsley & Regan.
He advises law firms of all sizes on strategic associate and partner hiring needs, bringing a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to every search. Since 2018, Mike has worked closely with legal professionals and leading firms across the country, building long-term partnerships and facilitating placements that support both immediate hiring objectives and lasting career success.
Mike joined ELR in October 2025, following a unique career path that began in active ministry in the Eastern Orthodox Church. In that role, he gained extensive experience counseling individuals and communities, honing the skills of careful listening, discretion, and guidance through complex decisions—strengths that now inform his practice as a recruiter. His ability to navigate sensitive conversations and balance competing priorities has made him a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike.
He holds a B.A. in Classics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Divinity, summa cum laude, from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.
When he is not advising on searches, Mike enjoys weightlifting, traveling throughout Europe, reading widely, and cooking memorable meals with his children and friends.
